We have a great opportunity to have a flashmob for the movie “Daybreakers” this Saturday the 2nd at 12:30pm in the Galleria area. Please RSVP at the bottom of this post.
If you want to be a vampire, dress all in black with white makeup. We will have fangs and blood bags for you. Make signs that say “Will work for blood” or variations of that. If you can make more than on sign that would be really great .
If you want to be a human, dress up as a post-apocalyptic survivor to chase off vampires.
If you want to show up to take photos or videos that would be great!
The rest of the event will be explained to everyone when they show up.

Mp3 Experiment Poster: Lenny Flamenco
On January 24th, 2009 at 2:00 pm the we conducted our first Mp3 experiment at Discovery Green in Houston, Texas. This was our first Mp3 experiment and will definatley not be our last.

We wrote and recorded the script that was downloaded by our participants. We split them into two groups based on their birthday without their knowledge.
Around 2pm, I whipped ou the bullhorn and asked everyone to prepare to play the mp3 file. A few minutes later, I counted down from 5, said "GO" and hit the siren. There was about 30 seconds of ambient music played then our participants were introced to "F.R.E.D", "Flashmob Recording Experimental Device."

Thank you all for coming out to the Mp3 Experiment V1.0. We hope you enjoyed the experience. We are collecting video, and photos of the event and will be posting an update as soon as possible.

This is our first Flashmob Friday event! At least once a month we will announce a day of flashmob event on Friday. The FF might be a quick event, crashing another meetup, or a host of other things.
