Hello flashmobbers!
This is our first Flashmob Friday event! At least once a month we will announce a day of flashmob event on Friday. The FF might be a quick event, crashing another meetup, or a host of other things.
This Flashmob Friday event will be “Jocks and Geeks”. Technology Bytes is hosting their “Geek Gathering” today at Coffee Groundz at 7:30pm. Facebook event here: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=48952723338
Our mission is dress up as either jocks or geeks and crash this party!
What:
Dress up as Joc ks and nerds.
Where /When:
Coffee Groundz at 7:30pm - 9:00pm
Events:
Every half our jocks will chant “Jocks! Jocks! Jocks!” and nerds will reply “Nerds! Nerds! Nerds!”
If you are a nerd, every time you hear someone say “twitter” let out a nerdy laugh, if you hear a nerdy laugh join in (nerdy laugh found here: https://www.audiosparx.com/sa/summary/play.cfm/sound_iid.4436 )
If you are a jock, every time you hear someone say “beer” yell out “Beer!!”. If you hear someone yell out “Beer!” do the same!
At 8:45 jocks will loudly proclaim together “Dwight Silverman is the nerd KING!”.
(If you go as a jock, find the other jocks and agree on a signal for this)
At 9:00pm jocks yell out “Get the nerds!!” at which time, the jocks will chase the nerds from the building and the flashmob will be over.

Nice, I love the fact that they are using the internet to sneak up on geeks. I might try to make it by and give the jocks a credible stand-in.

I may as well flex my “fratboy” cred and come as a jock. They deserve to be infiltrated. I’ll be in the toga doing keg-stands.
